The Utica Story
This historic industrial city near the Adirondack Mountains, and surrounding communities such as Clinton and Hamilton, boast a significant Jewish population, particularly students in the various university campuses in the region. Jewish life, and especially campus kiruv efforts, were significantly hampered by the lackluster condition of the old Utica mikvah, which served Jews throughout the region. Mikvah USA helped thoroughly renovate the mikvah. It is now contemporary, comfortable and impressive – a major attraction for young, sophisticated Jewish population.
