The Turks and Caicos Islands Story
The spectacular beaches and pristine marine environment are the defining feature of the country, and are the primary attraction for the thousands of tourists that come yearly. Yet no mikvah exists in this area, the ocean is currently used as an alternative mikvah. Besides for tourists there are full-time Jewish residents, specifically some Israeli young families as well as second home owners who could be brought into the folds of Taharah with a local mikvah. Mikvah USA is partnering with the local Chabad to increase Taharah in Turks and Caicos for the locals, second home owners and the many tourists coming through.
