The Quebec City Story
The capital of Quebec is a beautiful city to live in, and attracts thousands of Jewish tourists a year, especially during the summer time. However, the great distance to the nearest mikvah, in Montreal, kept even previous taharah observers in this French speaking community away from taharah, and made it very difficult for frum visitors as well. The local scene has now been completely transformed, as a rich, upscale mikvah serves Quebec City with grace and brought taharah observance to an entirely new level.
