The Pasadena Story
There are tens of thousands of Jews in close proximity to this prestigious Los Angeles area city, including many students at the California Institute of Technology (Cal-Tech), which is among the top universities in the nation. The local Chabad has daily minyanim and approximately 300 member families. Its leader, Rabbi Chaim Hanoka, is particularly active on the kiruv scene. However, the lack of a local mikvah substantially hampered kiruv progress, particularly in the area of taharah.
Thankfully, after years of delay, Pasadena has a beautiful new mikvah of its own, largely a result of Mikvah USA’s assistance at every step of the project be”H. The spiritual future in and around Pasadena looks brighter than ever before!
