The New Haven Story
New Haven is the third most populous city in Connecticut and is well-known for being home to the prestigious Yale University. The Jewish community in New Haven is thriving, with a continuous influx of young families. At present, there are over 250 Jewish families residing in New Haven. Moreover, the new mikvah will be conveniently located within walking distance of Yale University, which hosts more than 1,000 Jewish students. The Chabad Rabbi on campus intends to utilize the new mikvah as a resource to educate and promote Taharas Hamishpacha. The new mikvah will be a state-of-the-art, standalone structure, designed to be appealing and welcoming to everyone, and raise the bar in Taharah in Connecticut.
