New Albany is a beautiful Columbus suburb named as America’s best suburb by Business Insider. Its quality of life and state-of-the-art Chabad Center, which is renowned for its warmth, have spurred significant growth for the local Jewish community. It is a particularly popular choice for young Jewish professionals. Unfortunately, for all the warmth and vibrancy of New Albany Jewry, only a miniscule number of local Jews observed taharah when the community did not have its own mikvah.
