The Monroe Township Story
There are approximately 8,000 Jews living in this suburban community. Some 400 of them are affiliated with the local Chabad. A large senior community continually attracts new age 50+ Jewish residents, but there is also a modest younger Jewish community. There is huge potential upside for Taharah observance within the community, an area in which the local Chabad Rabbi and Rebbetzin exert great effort. It is anticipated that observance will substantially increase when the community has a mikvah of its own.
