The Mobile Story
Mobile is Alabama’s second largest city and a hub for the naval and healthcare industries, among other major economic sectors. A new 362,000 square foot Amazon sortation center has added yet another major industry to the city. Mobile’s current Jewish community is small but its opportunities are continually attracting new Jewish families, primarily of Israeli origin. The local Chabad Rav and Rebbetzin are active and effective. Mikvah USA worked diligently to build a beautiful new mikvah for the community – which will iy”H exponentially increase Taharah observance and transform the city’s Jewish character.
