The Mill Basin Story
This large and fast growing Jewish community is located in Brooklyn, but a relatively large distance away from the borough’s other major Jewish communities. Mill Basin and its environs has approximately 3,000 Jewish households, over one-third of them affiliated with one of the eleven local Orthodox congregations. Mikvah USA saw clearly the crucial need for a modern new mikvah for the Mill Basin residents. Thankfully, after many years of construction Mikvah USA saw this crucial project through to completion. The number of taharah observant Mill Basin residents is expected to grow at an unprecedented rate upon completion.
