The Markham Story
The mikvah in this Toronto suburb was showing its age after nearly two decades of use. Markham has a full Kehillah infrastructure, including Shuls and a Hebrew school, but its community members mostly practice only limited observance. The mikvah’s condition was a substantial impediment to increasing Tahara observance, especially amongst the newly married. Mikvah USA worked closely with local leaders to give the mikvah a modern facelift.
