The Jupiter Story
Jupiter is a beautiful city in the Palm Beach region north of Miami, with approximately 5,000 Jewish residents. While Torah observance unfortunately remains low, Rabbi and Rebbetzin Berel Barash of the local Chabad are baruch Hashem making strides, after many years of efforts. There is a constant flow of young Jewish families moving in and forging ties with the community. Chabad is opening a local preschool and hosting various community events. A large modern Chabad community center is in the process of being built. Mikvah USA is working closely with the Jupiter community to build a beautiful mikvah in the center, which is expected to significantly boost taharah and overall Torah observance in the region.
