The Flushing Story
With some 100,000 Jews of various levels of observance in the area, the current and potential demand for a mikvah in this section of Queens is massive. Rabbi Mendy Gadaev built a mikvah for the 200-plus members of his community and others in the neighborhood. The option of a small intimate mikvah is bringing additional locals – who were wary of the concept – into the fold of Tahara observance. Mikvah USA worked closely with the local Kehillah to bring this important project towards completion.
