The Columbia Story
This Central Missouri city is home to the largest University in the state, with close to twenty five thousand students calling Columbia their home. There are a hundred Jews living in the City and around six hundred more are students at the University. The closest Mikvah is almost two hours away and therefore efforts to bring more Jews to tahara have been hampered. The hope is that with a beautiful new and finally local mikvah many more Jews will be encouraged to partake in this beautiful mitzvah
