The Charlotte Story
Charlotte has the largest Orthodox community in North Carolina and its surrounding region. It has two Chabad Houses, a Day School system with over 200 children, the state’s only kosher food establishment, a Torah U’Mesorah outreach center and more. The old community mikvah, built in the early ‘80s, was small, barebones and showing its age. The new mikvah is modern and sophisticated, with all the amenities to make for a pleasant experience. A significant number of new mikvah users from throughout the area are expected over the long term, b’ezras Hashem.
