The Brooklyn Heights Story
Downtown Brooklyn has over three thousand Jewish families in the immediate vicinity, and many more that work in the neighborhood, including at the courthouses nearby. The local Chabad serves as shul, pre-school, and mikvah, and has three hundred families affiliated with it. Since it is centrally located, it serves Jews from Manhattan as well as surrounding neighborhoods. The current mikvah is showing its age and therefore uninviting and needs updating. A newly upgraded and renovated Mikvah will Bez”h attract more Jewish families to keep Taharas Hamishpacha.
