Mikvah USA - Building Mikvaos Across America

About Mikvah USA

R' Shmuel BerenbaumMoreinu Hagaon R' Shmuel Berenbaum, ZTZ'L, Rosh HaYeshiva of Yeshivas Mir, was an ardent supporter of Mikvah USA. He emulated the Torah Sages of previous generations who selflessly devoted themselves to this significant mitzvah. The Rosh Yeshiva instructed that Mikvah USA establish mikvaos within walking distance of every city and town where Jews resided. He exhibited tremendous interest in Mikvah USA’s projects, and was greatly involved with the construction process and its details along with location sites. In fact, the Rosh Yeshiva pledged to personally call potential benefactors to support Mikvah USA’s activities.

The Rosh Yeshiva’s passing on the 28th of Teves 5768 left a void in Klal Yisroel.  Mikvah USA, in conjunction with Rebbetzin Berenbaum, shetichye, and talmidim of the Rosh Yeshiva, founded Taharas Shmuel in order to perpetuate the work of the Rosh Yeshiva.  To read R' Asher Berenbaum's endorsement click here. Taharas Shmuel is a fund that helps build mikvaos throughout the United States in memory of the Rosh Yeshiva, whose name is memorialized at the mikvaos assisted by Taharas Shmuel.  Since its inception, Taharas Shmuel has assisted four mikvah projects  around the country.

We encourage you to follow the path and vision of this well-loved leader in Klal Yisrael.  Donate to Taharas Shmuel and continue the Rosh Yeshiva’s work of making mikvaos available to all of our brethren. Donations can be made in memory of a loved one, as a source of merit for a particular need, or in memory of the Rosh Yeshiva.
